About the Unit

Yara has an ambitious strategic agenda to be the crop nutrition company for the future and is taking lead in the development towards sustainable agriculture and digital tools, to contribute to solving the challenges which the agricultural industry is facing globally. We have a worldwide presence with sales to ~150 countries and around 17 000 employees. The newly established function, Yara Farming Solutions, will lead the transformation towards more sustainable and efficient food production, by innovating our offering and the way we work.

The software engineering department is responsible for developing and scaling new “on-farm” digital and integrated tools and solutions, which will work toward driving a more efficient and transparent food system and better live environment.

Responsibilities

Work within product teams alongside the product manager and with a cross-functional team to create engaging, user-centric solutions and/or services that solve the needs of Yara and its clients.

•             Lead adoption and be the embodiment of the Agile values and principles

•             Identify & implement appropriate Agile frameworks/practices which may include Scrum ceremonies (e.g. stand-ups, demos, retrospectives)

•             Support the product team in road-mapping and release planning

•             Collaborate and ensure good backlog management practices are being met (e.g. refinement & estimation)

•             Facilitate collaboration and information sessions for the team and external stakeholders when required

•             Assess the agile maturity of the team and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, in a conscientious, practical and sustainable manner.

•             Provide support to the team with the servant-leadership approach and lead by example.

Profile

Prior working experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach or similar in a software development environment.

•             Good understanding of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement & empowerment.

•             Experience in running workshops and training sessions would be a plus.

•             Agile certifications e.g. CSM, PSM, SAFe or similar preferred.

•             Excellent communication skills & cultural sensitivity.
