Senior Full Stack .Net Developer And Tech Lead (F/M)

Yara Digital Farming teams are heavily customer, data and technology driven. In the process of building solutions for farmers we construct hardware and sensors, crunch satellite data, apply artificial intelligence, and turn research results into solutions. Our teams are composed of designers, software engineers, hardware developers, data scientists, solution managers, and product managers.


We are looking for a senior full-stack .NET Developer who craves impact. This role should feel comfortable working on a large & sophisticated product within a multidisciplinary product team to build engaging, user-centric services that solve the needs of farmers around the world. 

  • Take over ownership of a long-established market-leading software product 

  • Ensure stability and high standards of the engineering team 

  • Lead a team of 3 software engineers & testers to continuously iterate to meet our customers’ needs 

  • You write clean, testable, scalable and maintainable code that complies with web standards and best practices 

  • You improve development knowledge/skills of the team by pair programming, teaching best practices and by doing code reviews 

  • You support the team with your knowledge in designing architecture and build processes 

  • Develop back-end and front-end components of responsive web & mobile applications 

  • University degree in a relevant academic discipline 

  • 5+ years or more expertise in web development in the ASP.NET ecosystem, especially WebForms, MVC, C# and SQL Server. Experience in PowerShell would be a plus. 

  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. JS frameworks (e.g. jQuery) would be an advantage. 

  • Experience as a manager or tech owner of a software product 

  • 1 year or more experience with modern, large scale software projects: source code control with Git, APIs, cloud platforms, test driven development, continuous integration, documentation 

  • Experience building consumer-facing web applications  

  • Working knowledge of agile development methodologies 

  • Understanding of concepts such as service-oriented architecture, single page applications, micro-services, and geospatial data  

  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
