About the Unit

Yara aims to be the crop nutrition company for the future and is leading the development of sustainable agriculture and digital tools to contribute to solving global agricultural challenges. We have a worldwide presence with sales teams in ~150 countries and around 17,000 employees.

Drawing on over a century of crop nutrition experience, Yara established the Digital Farming unit – now Digital Ag Solutions (DAS) – 4 years ago to explore how technology could be used to impact farmer livelihoods and productivity. Today, DAS has built products for smallholder and professional farmers, retailers and other farming ecosystem stakeholders across Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe.

We are an international team of engineers, scientists, researchers, designers and agronomists working together to achieve Yara’s goal to responsibly feed this world and protect the planet. Responsibilities

Test native mobile applications on different mobile devices and simulators and web applications
Collaborate with product owners and software development team to analyse product specs, develop test scenarios and execute to
ensure quality of solutions
Perform different types of functional and non-functional testing as needed in multiple cycles and report defects suitably
Create and maintain test artefacts like test strategy, plan, BDD acceptance tests, other verification test scenarios, scripts and any other
deliverable necessary to achieve high level of quality
Contribute to / establish, comply with and promote QA guidelines, best practices and standards
Train and mentor new team members in product, process and technology aspects

Profile

2-3 years of experience with at least two modern, large scale mobile native applications.
Experience in / good exposure to all types of testing (functional and non functional) and ability to communicate them is required.
Eligible for appropriate grades of seniority based on background experience and competence levels.
Interest to make a difference through connecting with millions of users. Understanding of low LSM users, agriculture and mobile technologies.
