We have a worldwide presence with sales to ~150 countries and around 17 000 employees. The newly established function, Yara Farming Solutions, will lead the transformation towards more sustainable and efficient food production, by innovating our offering and the way we work.

The software engineering department is responsible for developing and scaling new “on-farm” digital and integrated tools and solutions, which will work toward driving a more efficient and transparent food system and better live environment.

Responsibilities

Identify and coach the team through their pain-points/friction areas
Instill the 3 pillars of Agile: Transparency, Inspection & Adaption in the team's way of working
Support the different disciplines on the team to work as a cohesive unit
Support the Product Owner in the preparation and maintenance of the Product Backlog
Work with a culturally diverse group of individuals and bring the best out of them
Identify and work with an Agile framework that best serves the team's needs
Create strong feedback loops between the the team(s) and stakeholders
Clarify, facilitate and moderate regular team ceremonies/events
Create mechanisms for continous improvement
Identify and establish key metrics for team performance and team health
Coaching individuals, supporting their personal development & goals
Create and run collaboration workshops when required

Profile

Proficient communication in English
Proven record of working with cross-functional software development teams (working with Salesforce is a benefit)
Experience working with various Agile frameworks (e.g. Kanban, Lean, TDD)
Experience working in an international environment; having a high level of awareness and empathy when working with other cultures
Strong level of emotional intelligence, with an extensive toolkit on how to diffuse conflict and overcome challenges
Significant experience as Scrum Master, Agile Coach, RTE, Agile Project Manager or similar
Curious and adaptable mindset
Proficient with the Atlassian & Microsoft suite, but quick to learn new digital tools
