The role is positioned in the Enterprise Data Platforms organization, which belongs to the unit Enterprise Information Technology (IT). IT is responsible for building and operating a modern, stable, and secure technology environment for the company.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Data & Robotics mission is to improve Yara’s enterprise-level decision making process and optimization of processes by reducing manual administrative work.

As a BI Developer you will be responsible for:

Understanding complex business needs and convert them into technical designs
Advanced technical implementations and development, including but not restricted to data extraction/ingestion, data transformations and data models/products
Accountable for incident, service request and test/change management for our BI solutions.
Proactively look for improvements and optimizations to the Enterprise data platform, with focus on service improvement and keep solution “clean”
Handle performance, data quality and authorization issues if they arise
Provide support in managing the lifecycle of the BI solution(s): patching and upgrade, landscape and capacity management, technical doc, test scenario management, release management.
Operational stability (housekeeping tasks)

This in the area of (SAP) Data platform and ETL solutions. You will be part of a motivated and experienced team and act in close cooperation with business analysts, architects, and other developers.

Profile

Education - Degree, preferable master (minimum Bachelor) within Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics (or achieved similar by experience)

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP data engineering.
Proven experience in designing and building data pipelines, data warehouses, and data processing systems.

Knowledge and skills

Expert level in SAP Data tools such as, SAP BW, HANA, SLT, Business Data Cloud
Expert level in SAP ERP and Basis (Database and performance tuning)
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and/or Alteryx is a plus
Up-to-date with latest evolution/technologies in Data & Analytics area
Datawarehouse/cloud platforms (as AWS/Azure)
Strong analytical skills combined with good level of communication
Professional attitude towards colleagues and external parties across different cultures and professions
Structured, Customer oriented, service minded with high level of commitment

Other requirements - Working in an international environment will need good English language skills and require some travel mobility.
