About Role

 

We are looking for a Biologicals Specialist to support the development, implementation, and commercial success of our biological products across the Baltic region, with a strong focus on Lithuania. In this role, you will help bring innovative biological solutions to farmers, improve soil health, boost crop performance, and support more sustainable farming practices.

You will act as the regional expert for biological products—guiding internal teams, distributors, and farmers, and grow Yara biologicals portfolio in a fast‑evolving market. Responsibilities

 

Reporting to VP Commercial, Baltics the position’s primary responsibilities include:

 

  • Strategic & Commercial Support:

    • Work closely with Commercial Managers in the Baltics to implement the Yara Biologicals strategy
    • Develop a market plan for YaraVita foliar fertilizers and YaraAmplix biostimulants together with local commercial teams
    • Ensure biological products are well positioned—both technically and commercially

    Market Development

    • Create and execute demand‑generation activities that engage distributors and farmers
    • Conduct competitive analysis covering products, active ingredients, market positioning, identifying opportunities and threats
    • Support the launch and market development of new biological products in the region

    Customer Support

    • Run Yara Biological product trials and field demonstrations to support sales in the Baltics
    • Work with the sales team to deliver after‑sales support and share trial results with customers and farmers.
    • Provide regional support for the creation, launch, and development of new products and portfolio management activities

Profile

 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Soil Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in agriculture, ideally in Foliar or biological products
  • A proactive, commercially minded professional who works well with farmers, distributors, and internal teams
  • Practical experience with field trials, product validation, and technical support within agriculture industry
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify crop and soil issues
  • Confident communication and training skills, with the ability to engage and educate customers and partners
  • Ability to turn complex scientific information into clear, practical agronomic advice
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in Lithuanian and English (spoken and written) — required
  • Additional languages are an advantage

Offered salary: We offer salary from 2828 Eur to 4242 Eur/month gross (before taxes, final offer depends on candidate's competence).

Additional Information

 

Location: Lithuania

 

This role involves regular travel in Lithuania to engage with customers and farmers and some across the Baltic region to collaborate closely with local commercial teams
