Responsibilities
Master Data Steward role is focused on managing master data governance operational services for key ERP master data objects for Yara 55 countries within YSAP, ISAP and SUN platforms. This includes data housekeeping, data quality monitoring, project contribution, data migration, application documentation, training, access management and user support.
- Manage Yara’s key master data object for 55 countries throughout its lifecycle according to agreed service levels covering ERPs YSAP, ISAP, S4 and SUN. Master data objects in scope are Customer, Vendor, Material, Cost Center, Profit Center, GL Accounts and Bank
- Adhere to team's duty schedule and pull operational tasks according to SLA due date and time, considering region/time zone and task type, ensuring enough time for Master Data Management (MDM) to action
- Act as one product team ensuring balanced workload is distributed evenly
- Incident management: perform root-cause analysis on Master Data related system problems, recommend and execute corrective action
- Responsible for replication monitoring - act on failures and identify root cause
- Have insight and adhere to defined business rules and secure stable operations with data entry first time right. Attentive to business rules set-up during mass changes when digitalized rules do not apply
- With a mindset on value contribution and in adherence to MDM’s strategic vision, proactively and continuously review MDM’s services and ways of working to best support Yara’s business
- Support technical changes on MDM’s platforms in collaboration with Yara’s external AMS service providers. Contribute to monitor, test and deploy changes, and safeguard those changes are scalable for future use with adherence to Yara’s standards
- Support, build and contribute towards MDM’s data analytics services, including data quality dashboards, with the aim to provide valuable insight to business as enabler to act on data quality
- Monitor and cleanse proactively data quality to ensure data is fit for purpose and reports to the business on trends of possible data quality issues where business should act upon
- Adhere to agreed frequency on recurrent data housekeeping activities in collaboration with product owner
- Continuous dialogue with global/regional business to capture and document business rules with aim to automate manual work and digitize business rules & processes on MDM’s technical platforms
- Provide training on request for master data requestors for various platforms servicing YSAP, ISAP and SUN
- Act as GRC requestor for MDG access for mandated Master Data objects through appropriate tools
- Create and maintain internal and external procedures/tutorials/videos
- Actively contribute and adhere to MDM team’s ways of communicating, visiting our dedicated Teams channels daily throughout to provide support to one another, stay connected and informed. Proactive engagement and action are expected for all. Attentive to MDM’s Pulse site to ensure current content
- Act as promoter to business for MDM services to business such as MDM Pulse and DQ Dashboard. Proactively promoting and guiding business stakeholders, encouraging use
- Project: Represent MDM in projects – act as single point of contact and coordinate required activities within MDM.
Profile
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Information Management or Finance and Economics. Long relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
Funcional skills:
- In depth knowledge to Master Data Management within one or several SAP modules
- Strong SAP application knowledge from a functional perspective and how master data objects are consumed in business transactions
- Experience with different SAP mass update tools and use of data cleansing and quality improvement tools
- Proficient in use of O365 applications
- Good data analytics skills

Offered Salary
We offer salary from 2828 Eur to 4240 Eur/month gross (before taxes). Final offer depends on candidate's competences.
