Railway Fleet Expert (French)

European Business Service Center is an important milestone in the modernization of the company’s operating model in Europe.

Responsibilities

 

•    Daily planning and tracking of base chemicals wagons (Isolate wagon or massive train) in collaboration with Transport coordinator
•    Applying predefined maintenance programs to keep the fleet operational (sending wagons to workshops)
•    Participate int maintenance projects and adapt if needed // maintenance cost optimization
•    Organizing and monitoring interventions on site (plants/customer site) to repair or improve the material. 
•    Compiling and consolidating figures and statistics related to Rail activities
•    Filling transport documents and following thoroughly RID restrictions (CIM, CIT) in collaboration with Transport coordinator
•    LES and Self-Billing // applying transport costs to different shipments, validating and correcting them when needed in collaboration with Transport coordinator
•    Supplying and analyzing the funds necessary for transport services, material rental & technical reparations
•    Negotiate reparation costs with repair shops and lessors in line with procurement guidelines// dispute prices if needed
•    Managing Railway fleet based on request from the different stakeholders // Fleet management optimization
•    Processing all quotes and invoices for maintenance, transport, rental (maintaining records of all data, creating PO items for every statement, communicating it to vendors, invoice verification) in collaboration with Transport coordinator
•    On time payment follow-up and intervention in case of delayed or non-payment
•    Participating in rail contracts negotiation and rail supplier’s evaluation in collaboration with Transport coordinator

Profile

 

•    Relevant higher education is an advantage
•    Experience with railway transportation, logistics, planning and/or supply chain operation is preferred 
•    Working experience and/or interest with ERP systems is an advantage 
•    Good knowledge about Yara Business Model  
•    Proven team player
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Structured, punctual and attention to detail 
•    Proactive and self-driven
•    Embracing Yara values and a safe and inclusive work culture
•    Fluent in English and able to read and write in French

Offered Salary

 

We offer base salary from 1458 Eur to 2187 Eur/month gross (before taxes) plus language premium
