Transport Coordinator (English speaking) at YARA_EBS

Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver on a broad spectrum of transport activities (e.g., delivery planning, on-time delivery execution, optimum carrier/broker selection, shipment cost calculation, handling carrier invoices), in SAP and other defined tools and applications
  • Build good relations with carriers, terminals and other stakeholders; ensure all activities are in alignment with BU/ market needs
  • Proactively suggest corrective & preventive actions leading towards decrease in incidents and customers complaints
  • Independently solve complex operational issues and clearly communicate solution towards vendors and other stakeholders
  • Responsible for supporting the team in transport management area and providing basic operational trainings for the new joiners within the team
  • Diligently follow up on complaints using the appropriate tools
  • Engage in transport management related projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Profile

 

  • One or more years of successful Transport Coordination experience in YEU
  • Relevant higher education is an advantage
  • Fluent in English
  • German, French or Dutch language skills would be an advantage
  • Understanding of business processes and transportation requirements
  • SAP knowledge would be an advantage
  • Proactive and self-driven with a solution oriented mindset
  • Based in Lithuania or willing to relocate

Offered Salary

 

We offer salary from EUR 1488 to 2233 per month gross (before taxes; final offer depends on candidate's competences).
